Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended Amitabh Kant for his book on India’s G20 Presidency and the 2023 Summit, highlighting its lucid portrayal of the country’s focus on human-centric development and global betterment. Responding to Kant’s post on X, Modi wrote, “Your effort to write about India’s G20 Presidency and the Summit in 2023 is commendable, giving a lucid perspective on our efforts to further human-centric development in pursuit of a better planet.”
Kant, India’s G20 Sherpa, shared photographs with Modi and expressed gratitude for his support. “Honoured to present my book How India Scaled Mt. G20 to Prime Minister @narendramodi,” he wrote on X. Kant credited Modi’s visionary leadership, global stature, and inclusive approach for setting the agenda and ensuring the success of India’s G20 Presidency.
Kant emphasized that Modi’s trust empowered the team to take bold risks during complex negotiations, shaping one of India’s most transformative diplomatic achievements.
