Chandigarh, March 11
Four labourers lost their lives after a high-speed Mercedes ran them over near Sai Mandir on Dehradun’s Rajpur Road. The vehicle, reportedly carrying four to five occupants and bearing a Chandigarh registration plate, was en route from Mussoorie when it also collided with a scooter, injuring two people.
Senior police officials arrived at the scene following the accident. Local resident Ajit Singh Rathi shared information about the accident on X, formerly Twitter, posting a video of police officers at the site.
