The Procter & Gamble Company has announced that Shailesh Jejurikar, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, will become its President and Chief Executive Officer from January 1, 2026. His name has also been put forward for election to the company’s Board of Directors at the upcoming annual shareholders’ meeting in October.
Jejurikar will succeed current CEO Jon Moeller, who will take on the role of Executive Chairman of the Board starting the same day. In his new role, Moeller will lead the Board and provide ongoing counsel to the incoming CEO on key strategic matters.
Joe Jimenez, Lead Director of P&G’s Board, praised Moeller for his steady and visionary leadership. He noted Moeller’s pivotal role in advancing the company’s integrated strategy, which focuses on portfolio strength, product superiority, productivity, and organizational design.
“Jon has consistently delivered growth and long-term value for P&G,” Jimenez said. “With the company well-positioned for the future, this is the right time to pass the leadership baton to Shailesh Jejurikar. The Board deeply values Jon’s continued involvement as Executive Chairman.”
Jejurikar’s appointment marks a key leadership transition at the global consumer goods giant, which owns brands including Ariel, Pampers, Gillette, and Tide.
