Microsoft has introduced a new AI-driven feature in Excel called =COPILOT(), designed to bring powerful capabilities directly into the spreadsheet grid. The function enables users to analyze data, generate content, and brainstorm ideas seamlessly within Excel, making the tool more than just a number-crunching platform. Sharing his excitement, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella took to Twitter and posted: “I just love this. The new =COPILOT() function in Excel lets you analyze, generate content, and brainstorm directly in the grid.”
With this update, Microsoft is infusing one of its most widely used applications with artificial intelligence, aiming to transform Excel into an intelligent workspace that boosts creativity and productivity.
