Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended greetings to personnel of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on the force’s Raising Day, praising their dedication and role in safeguarding the nation. In a message posted on X, the Prime Minister said the SSB’s unwavering commitment reflected the highest traditions of service. He noted that the force remained vigilant despite operating in difficult terrain and under demanding conditions, adding that its sense of duty continued to be a strong pillar of India’s security.
“From challenging terrains to demanding operational conditions, the SSB stands ever vigilant,” Modi said, wishing personnel success in their future endeavours. Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah also conveyed his greetings to SSB personnel and their families. In a separate post, he said the force had consistently made the nation proud, whether by securing India’s frontiers or standing with citizens during times of crisis.
Shah also paid tribute to SSB martyrs, saluting those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
