Prime Minister Narendra Modi made history today as the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Ukraine, where he met President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv. The two leaders greeted each other warmly with a hug and handshake at the Martyrologist Exposition.
Accompanied by President Zelensky, PM Modi visited the Martyrologist Exposition on children at the National Museum of History of Ukraine in Kyiv. Deeply moved by the heartfelt display honoring children who have lost their lives in the conflict, PM Modi expressed his sorrow and respect by placing a toy in memory of the young victims.
