In a message shared on X, Modi said the courage shown by the victims remains a source of inspiration for future generations, particularly in defending the values of freedom, justice and dignity. He described the massacre as a defining moment in India’s past, one that still resonates deeply in the country’s collective memory.
Besides this, the Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam, encouraging citizens to build a society rooted in positive, constructive values. The verse called for strengthening forces that promote prosperity, awareness and self-reliance, while resisting those that lead to division, injustice and unrest.
