A voter turnout of 77% was recorded in the gram panchayat elections across Punjab, according to data from district election officers. Providing details, State Election Commissioner Raj Kamal Chaudhuri on Wednesday said that Mansa led with 83.27%, while Tarn Taran registered the lowest turnout at 64.40%. In elections held yesterday, key turnout figures included 68.12% in Amritsar, 79.43% in Bathinda, 75.21% in Barnala, 78.47% in Fatehgarh Sahib, 70.21% in Faridkot, 82.31% in Fazilka, and 69% in Gurdaspur. Additional figures showed 66.14% in Kapurthala, 67.1% in Ludhiana, 77.22% in Malerkotla, and 79.45% in Sangrur.
