Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav announced on Saturday that he led night domination operations, conducting surprise inspections across SAS Nagar, Ludhiana, Khanna, and Fatehgarh Sahib Districts. During the operation, he reviewed the functioning of special checkpoints and monitored police activities on the ground.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Yadav emphasized his engagement with police officers at the grassroots level and interacted with citizens at various stops to gather firsthand accounts of their experiences with law enforcement. He expressed satisfaction in learning that the public feels safer due to the increased police presence.
Yadav also assessed the effectiveness of crime-combat apps like VAHAN and PAIS, stating that these special vehicle checks would continue to ensure enhanced security and effective law enforcement throughout the region.
