Allu Arjun, the star of Pushpa-2, was arrested today in connection with a fatal stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The incident occurred during the film’s premiere on its first screening day, where a woman died and her son was critically injured. The police have filed charges against the theatre management, Allu Arjun, and his security team. Police stated that they had no prior information about the actor’s appearance at the premiere.
In response, Allu Arjun approached the Telangana High Court, filing a criminal petition to quash the First Information Report (FIR) filed by Chikkadpally police, in which he was named as one of the accused.
