Chandigarh, October 4
Navratri, a vibrant festival of joy and devotion, has begun, celebrating different forms of Goddess Durga over nine days filled with prayers, fasting, and spirited garba dancing. Food holds a special significance during this period, with many devotees opting for vegetarian dishes and refraining from meat, onions, garlic, and alcohol.
For those looking to indulge in a unique Navratri dining experience, several restaurants across India are offering special thalis and menus.
In Chandigarh, CITCO Hotels is set to launch a special Navratri Thali from October 3rd to 12th. The thalis will be available at four of its restaurants: Round the Clock (Hotel Mountview), Cloud 9 (Hotel Shivalikview), The Palms (Hotel Parkview), and Mermaid (Chef Lakeview, Sukhna Lake). Prices range from ₹250 to ₹550, featuring a selection of dishes including Lassi, Paneer Butter Masala, and Sabudana Tikki.
Other notable offerings across India according to the news outlet NDTV FOOD.
