Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has stepped in to support flood-hit communities in his home state, adopting ten of the worst-affected villages in Gurdaspur and Amritsar. The star is working with NGOs and local authorities to coordinate relief operations. His team said the immediate priority was distributing food, clean water and medical aid, while longer-term plans include rehabilitation and rebuilding efforts.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Dosanjh’s team struck an optimistic note: “Together, we can rebuild.”
