Weather conditions in Dharamshala, the second capital of the state, changed suddenly on Monday, bringing a sharp shift in temperatures across the region. Since early morning, the weather has remained unsettled, with higher altitude areas witnessing fresh snowfall, while lower regions experienced heavy rainfall accompanied by chilly winds.
The sudden change in weather has disrupted normal life. Kacheri Chowk, one of the busiest areas in Dharamshala that usually sees heavy footfall, appeared largely deserted as people stayed indoors due to rain and strong winds.
Continuous rainfall along with thunder has further intensified the cold, prompting residents to pull out their warm clothes once again.
