Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini on Thursday took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, a significant site where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers converge. In a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), Saini described the experience as a “great fortune,” sharing the moment with his family.
Following the ritual bath, Saini offered prayers to Maa Ganga for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the people of Haryana. He praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for successfully organizing the event, which is recognized as the world’s largest public gathering.
Saini described the Maha Kumbh as a “historic and glorious” event, emphasizing its importance as a symbol of the golden era of Sanatan Dharma and India’s cultural heritage. He noted that people from around the world are witnessing the grandeur of India during this sacred occasion.
