The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Monday expressed regret over the breach of premises at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala. The MEA emphasized that diplomatic and consular properties should never be targeted. “The government is taking necessary measures to enhance security at the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi, as well as at their Deputy and Assistant High Commissions across the country,” the statement read.
