Nagpur, October 12
Highlighting the ongoing persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat warned on Saturday said that the community’s plight and illegal immigration pose serious concerns for India’s national security and social harmony. In his annual address at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur on the Vijay Dashami event at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur, Bhagwat said noted the dangers of division and the need for unity among Hindus globally, emphasizing that disorganization invites aggression from hostile forces. Bhagwat warned of increasing efforts to undermine societal decency and the importance of countering these threats to preserve national integrity.
In a multiparty democracy, the RSS chief cautioned against the prioritisation of narrow interests over national unity. He noted that the destructive agendas have previously destabilized nations worldwide, citing events from the “Arab Spring” to recent developments in Bangladesh. Bhagwat called for an awakened society to counter these designs, urging the need for a democratic plan rooted in cultural values and constitutional principles.
He said that terms like “Deep State,” “Wokeism,” and “Cultural Marxism” represent threats to cultural traditions and values. He stated that these concepts aim to dismantle what is deemed virtuous and auspicious in society, employing a modus operandi that seeks to influence key societal institutions, including education and media.
Bhagwat emphasized that this agenda fosters victimhood among identity-based groups, promoting discontent and separating them from mainstream society. This tactic leads to conflict and an atmosphere of distrust, making it easier to establish dominance over the nation.
