Billionaire Elon Musk has claimed that his social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, was hit by a large-scale cyberattack, alleging Ukrainian involvement. In a post on X, Musk said the platform faces daily attacks but described this incident as particularly well-resourced, possibly involving a “large, coordinated group or a country.” Speaking to Fox News, he suggested that the attack originated from IP addresses in Ukraine.
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which Musk heads, linked the incident to previous protests and attacks on Tesla stores. Outage tracker Downdetector reported thousands of users experiencing issues.
