India’s manufacturing sector is thriving, with significant growth in electronics production, defense, space, AI, and semiconductors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that soon, Indian-made chips will power the world, highlighting the nation’s increasing role in critical technologies.

Prime Minister also said that india the fastest-growing major economy in the world. While addressing the Kautilya Economic Conclave, Modi emphasized that his government’s mantra of “Reform, Perform, and Transform” has been the foundation of India’s progress.

The Prime Minister outlined key achievements, including India’s leadership in fintech adoption, smartphone data consumption, and manufacturing growth. He also highlighted the country’s advancements in critical technologies like AI and semiconductors, along with a special package for youth skill development.

“India’s growth is inclusive, with 250 million people lifted out of poverty in the last decade,” Modi said. He also touched on structural reforms and international confidence in India’s economic future, supported by significant investments in infrastructure and green energy.

The three-day conclave, organized by the Institute of economic growth in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, addresses issues such as financing the green transition and geo-economic fragmentation.
