Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held a conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, congratulating him on his historic second term and reaffirming their commitment to bolstering the India-U.S. partnership.
In a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Modi described the call as an opportunity to deepen ties.
“Delighted to speak with my dear friend President @realDonaldTrump @POTUS. Congratulated him on his historic second term. We are committed to a mutually beneficial and trusted partnership. We will work together for the welfare of our people and towards global peace, prosperity, and security,” Modi wrote.
The dialogue underscores the strong bilateral relationship between the two democracies, with shared goals of economic growth, security, and regional stability.
