Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has hailed the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) decisive victory in the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election, calling it a strong endorsement of his government’s performance. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Mann said the “resounding victory” showed that people in the state were “extremely happy” with the government’s work. “We are working day and night for the progress and prosperity of Punjab, without any discrimination and with full honesty,” he said.
The Chief Minister congratulated AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora, who secured the seat with a significant margin. He also praised party workers and volunteers, saying, “Many congratulations to the entire leadership and volunteers who worked day and night for this victory.” Mann added that the party would now prioritise fulfilling every promise made during the by-election campaign.
