Chandigarh, January 29
The Punjab and Haryana secretariat building was evacuated on Thursday after it received bomb threat emails, police said.
Police personnel rushed in, moved the employees to safety and started a sweep of the secretariat located in Sector-1 here, they said.
This came a day after several schools in Chandigarh received bomb threat emails. However, after detailed inspection, no suspicious or explosive material was found in the schools.
