The controversy surrounding Rahul Gandhi’s recent trip to the US continues to stir political tensions, as a complaint has been filed against the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The complaint was lodged in Bhopal, led by State BJP Chief VD Sharma, who, along with a delegation of party members, arrived at the police station shouting anti-Rahul Gandhi slogans. Senior BJP leaders, including state in-charge Dr. Mahendra Singh and co-state-in-charge Satish Upadhyay, were also part of the delegation.
Simultaneously, an FIR has been registered against Union Minister of State for Railways, Ravneet Singh Bittu, for allegedly making defamatory remarks about Rahul Gandhi during a public address in Bengaluru. On September 15, Bittu reportedly referred to Rahul as “the number one terrorist in the country.” The complaint was filed by Congress party workers.
