Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday met the family of late ADGP Y. Puran Kumar at their residence in Chandigarh. Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Haryana Congress in-charge B. K. Hariprasad, and Haryana Congress President Rao Narendra Singh, along with several senior party leaders.
The ADGP allegedly died by suicide on 7 October at his residence in Chandigarh. The incident has drawn widespread attention, prompting senior political leaders to visit the bereaved family.
