External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said on Tuesday said that a stronger India-European Union (EU) relationship could serve as a stabilizing factor in an increasingly volatile world. Speaking at the IIC-Bruegel Annual Seminar, Jaishankar said that Europe’s growing strategic awareness and its potential to drive deeper engagement with India. “We already see that happening in closer defense, security, and technology cooperation,” he said. Jaishankar highlighted intensified interactions with the European Commission and expected further deepening of ties in the coming days.
