Czech Republic Ambassador to India, Dr. Eliska Zigova, today called on Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly Kultar Singh Sandhwan. Meanwhile, both the leaders emphasized on strengthening mutual cooperation between India and the Czech Republic. During the meeting at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sandhwan emphasized on strengthening the cooperation between India and Czech Republic in agriculture, industry, technology, food processing and packaging and other fields. The PVS Speaker said that both the countries can benefit from mutual exchange of knowledge and technology in various fields.
Sandhwan also asked Dr. Eliska Zigova to encourage Czech Republic companies to invest in Punjab as the state offers an invest friendly environment. Inviting the Speaker to visit the Czech Republic, Dr. Eliska Zigova discussed Czech Republic-India’s historical relations and recalled the historical relations between the two countries. She also appreciated the hardworking spirit of Punjabis Dr. Eliska Zigova said that the Czech Republic has been continuously promoting strong bilateral cooperation with India, which will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
