Local Bodies Minister of Punjab Dr. Ravjot Singh on Tuesday said that the Punjab government has developed a comprehensive plan to ensure that 100 percent of the urban population has access to drinking water. During the foundation-laying ceremony for a water supply project worth Rs 4.35 crore in Phagwara, Dr. Singh said that all municipal corporations and councils have been instructed to conduct special surveys to identify areas facing water supply shortages.
