BKI operative held at Delhi Airport: Punjab DGP

In a significant breakthrough, Punjab’s State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) arrested Sachindeep Singh, also known as Sachin, an operative of the Babar Khalsa International (BKI) module, at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. Singh, a resident of Dialpura village in Ajnala, Amritsar, was linked to the Nanded, Maharashtra, murder case executed on 10 February 2025.

After the incident, Singh fled to Thailand, attempting to escape the law. However, Punjab Police’s strategic efforts led to his apprehension upon his return to India.

Sharing details in his post on X previously known as Twitter, DGP Gaurav Yadav said that preliminary investigations suggest Singh played a key role in BKI’s terror network by providing safe shelters, logistical support, and financial assistance to operatives under the command of Pakistan-based terrorist Harwinder Singh Rinda and U.S.-based BKI operative Harpreet Singh, also known as Happy Passia.

The arrest follows the earlier capture of key shooter Jagdish Singh, alias Jagga, and his accomplice Shubhdeep Singh, alias Shubh, who were found with weapons in late February 2025.

Punjab Police reiterated their commitment to dismantling cross-border terror and criminal networks, ensuring national security and maintaining peace. Further investigations are underway, with more arrests expected.
