Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan has expressed deep grief over the demise of former Supreme Court Judge Justice Kuldeep Singh. In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Speaker Sandhwan said that 92-year-old Justice Kuldeep Singh was a renowned personality of the country, who made a great contribution to the Indian judiciary and the field of law. He said that with the departure of Justice Kuldeep Singh, we have been deprived of a unique personality.
It is worth mentioning that Justice Kuldeep Singh was played an active role in various important designations including Advocate General of Punjab, Additional Solicitor General of India. He was appointed as judge of the Supreme Court in 1988 and remained on that position till retirement in 1996.
Sandhwan prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and grant strength to the family to bear the loss.
